Hi everyone,

I haven't been able to find the answer to this anywhere, so I figured I'd ask on here.

I'm about to start my background process, and one of the things I have to provide is Naturalization papers, if applicable. I was born in another country, but became a citizen at 17, when my parents became naturalized. I've found my parents naturalization paperwork, but nothing for me. Since I didn't have to do anything to become a citizen, I'm not sure if I have/supposed to have these papers. I have a passport, would that be enough?

Thanks.

Check out this website "UCIS" you should be able to find an answer to your question! If you have lost or misplace your naturalization certificate: you need form N-565 and it costs $380 for a replacement....Good Luck!
