My bushy has a scope attached to the top of my bushy..on top of the carry handle, with the insert peice that adds a piccatinney carry handle to do this, and keep it level.

Here's what wierd.
At 50 yds I'm fine, but at 100 yds, the rounds are going up about 8 inches. I suppose to turn the elavation knob counter clockwise to compensate which is suppose to raise the elavation, which is the opposite of whats happening. My scope (cablas) made by Nikon, seems to have to go clockwise to lower the elevation, bit I have to do the opposite...but noticing the markings on the top elevation knob, I'm suppossed to turn to counter clockwise to increase this. I have to do the opposite.
elavation
My scope elavation knob is soppose to turn counter clockwise to increase longer distance targets marked in interviles (sp)
Why do I have to do the opposite.

Weird huh? or am I an idiot and doing something wrong.

I really hope Im making sense..eraly am

You adjust the knob in the direction you want to move the IMPACT of the rounds.

I.E. if the rounds are hitting below the point of aim on your target then you want to adjust the knob in the direction marked UP. Usually this will be counter-clockwise, but consult the manual that came with your scope.

However I will tell you that a carry handle mount on an AR SUCKS for a number of reasons and 8" at 50 yards is going to take a bunch of clicks to get you where you need to be.

Haha... Brings back memories. Had the same problem on my Bushy. The carry handle plays freakin' hell when a scope is mounted on it.

After you get it zeroed in at a hundred you'll be shooting about 4" low at 25yds.

If you want to plot the arc of the bullets flight you can figure out the rest of it. Gives me a headache to think that much.

Yes, quite simple really.
If you want the bullet strike to go up, you turn it in the direction indicated as up, conversely, if you want the bullet strike to go down, you turn it in the direction marked down.

I think I'll lose the carry handle and go from there.

Thanks for all the good ideas an answers.
