solano county firearms instruction?

anyone know whether or not the solano county sheriff's or the fairfield police department provide the requisite ccw training? (range/classroom)?

Le agencies usually do not provide that type of training to the civilian population - at least not that i have been aware of.

ccw permit seekers usually have to go through a security or (private) firearms training center for those.

the only one i know of (and reputable) is Jackson Arms in South SF... completion of the personal protection course will meet the minimum standards for ccw's....
