Leo Heading To San Francisco

Whats going on guys?? I am a LEO from NJ and I will be travelling to San Francisco August 4th-11th and was wondering if any of my Cali brothers and sisters can offer up ideas on what to do while I am out there.

I will be getting inked in the city while I am there and heading to Reno for a few days but other than that I have no idea on what to do. Any suggestions on places to eat will also be appreciated. Thanks!!

There are so many things to do in SF it's not even funny.

Start at a touristy pretty spot and start walking. You'll be good to go for the day!

Yeah for sure-try to hit up Pier 39/Embarcadero and from there everything is in walking distance-North Beach, China Town, downtown is a little bit away-for the most part its all there! It also depends on what your interested in, as right across the Golden Gate is Martin County and a little after that is wine country-there's no need to plan anything out specifically, just go wherever you take yourselves-you'll have a good time!

Haight & Ashbury (my hood) is kinda cool. Summer of love history-you can see how all the dope smokers live.

Golden Gate park is nice as well, Lands End and the Emabacadero. Union Square is where all the turistas hang- nice sights (female).

Yeah, Pier 39 is nice, some good places to eat.

Lots of strip clubs on Broadway St. (so i''ve heard) :)

The Exploratorium is pretty cool. It is at the base of the Golden Gate Bridge.

I can imagine they don't have many Redwoods in NJ. That's always a kewl trip. Wine country tour (rent a limo). South to Monterey; when you head to Reno, you'll be going through Sacramento (my home) and you can hit south shore of Tahoe. Hike the mountains while you’re up there, 4 hour trip to Yosemite but well worth it. Lots of things to do that are less than 2 hours away too.

Pier 39 also has the Alcatraz tour and a decent aquarium (I think it's called the Aquarium Under the Bay?)

Don't mess with the aquarium at Pier 39. The real aquarium is in Golden Gate Park.

Ooo absolutely-If you want to go to Golden Gate Park you could o the California Academy Of Sciences (http://www.calacademy.org/)-Its barely a year old I believe-Its state of the art-so much really cool stuff there

-Drive Hwy. 1 down the coast to Santa Cruz
-Catch a Giants game. They are going to win the World Series this year, you know.
