It must be a full moon or something, but I'm thinking (once again) that I might want to be a federal agent. But I feel like that's one of those gigs that someone should be certain that they really want before applying full-steam. So I want to find out more about the different agencies, their cultures, their application processes etc...

Besides the agency web site, do y'all have recommendations of other forums, websites, books or resources where I could research various 1811 jobs?

Thanks,
N

Go to the federal sub-forum and there is a lot of good info in there

I always tell peope that are interested in being an agent to immediately start applying. Many agencies only take applications for a short window of time every few years. Some may go on hiring freezes that last years. The hiring processes take so long that you might as well get the ball rolling because you will have plenty to think about your decision while you are waiting for the offer.
