Public Dress Code? [SK, Canada]

Quick question for you fine folks :)

I typically drive around in a bikini top during the last couple summers. I put on a shirt before entering any buildings, but on occasion will wear just the bikini top in parking lots, for example, when I'm loading groceries in the car and it's crazy hot out. I've also worn it in parks and places like that. I mainly roll with, if it would be acceptable for a man to not be wearing a shirt in a given location, it should be acceptable for me to wear my bikini top.

Here's the question: yesterday I was heading to work and didn't realize how hot it was outside, so I was wearing a bra + tank instead of bikini top + tank. I was crazy hot so I took my shirt off and was driving around like that, but made certain to put my shirt on once I got out of my car. I see relatively little difference between a bra and a bikini top, but I'm quite liberal in that sense. My nipples and aerola were covered, which is in my opinion, what needs to happen in order to avoid problems. I shared my choice with my mom, and she said that I'd better not get pulled over while wearing just my bra, and that it would be something akin to indecent exposure.

I did an hour or more of google-ing on it, and have found NOTHING to help me at all. Figured I would ask here for some input, and maybe end up calling the cop shop in town. I'm not lookin to be a problem for anyone, I'm just wanting to stay cool :)

I'm not specifically asking whether THIS bra is acceptable in public, but more is ANY bra acceptable in public. I know there is a huuuuuge difference in the eyes of most people between a bra and a bikini top, but what laws actually surround it?

That is fully clothed in the areas I work in. I have seen bikinis that are much more revealing. Of course Alabama is much different from Canada.

Don't know anything about Canadian law, but in Ohio, as long as your nipples are covered with a material you can't see through, your breasts are not considered to be exposed. You are right in that a lot of bras cover up more than a lot of bikini tops.
