Heard that. I have been stuck in IT or administrative/managerial positions that paid as well as LE. Going back to college to finish my degree, I realize how disconnected a majority of American youth are from issues that revolve around our society.
Good news is that I just got a callback from one of the agencies I applied for; they want me to come in for my Livescan service. I got another callback from another state level agency for an internship opportunity. Stick with it man!

Thanks! Whether or not I go full time, I'm really looking forward to getting started. I finshed Level III in March and opted not to continue to level II to have more time with family and work. I'm regretting it now , but I am really looking forward to the next class which starts in Sept.

Well hang in there! Income is income, and in this economy, it is tough to walk on a job.
Those POST certs really open doors that were usually slammed in my face pretty fast...I wanted to go back for my Level I but was advised not to by multiple ranked officers. They said now is the time to be in college (even though I have only 12 units before I hit a Bachelors). I'm looking into grad and law school options at the moment.
