Documents Needed For Lapd Background Packet

I haven't applied or tested yet, but I'm trying to find out what necessary documents the background investigator will need to expedite/complete the process? I would like to get all my documents in order so I don't prolong the process. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Just basic stuff like: high school diploma/transcripts, college transcripts, citizenship papers, marriage license, social security card, birth certificate, selective service card, etc.

Dont put the cart before the horse.....

Apply and start the process...(it takes a while) You will have PLENTY of time to gather documents and satisfy your BI's requests......
