Anyone gonna do the Mud Run at Camp Pendleton on Sunday? PM me if you want to meet up afterward! :)

Nothing better than mud, obstacles and Marines yelling at ya! :D

Sounds like a blast. I wish I wasn't so far away...

It is! We have to duct-tape our shoes on so they don't get stuck in the mud! We run through mud rivers, scale 6-foot walls, run through tires and crawl under nets.

There is one problem, though. Once you do a mud run, all other 10Ks are just ... boring!

This reminds me of my academy's 2 1/2 hour PT Session in pouring rain...plenty of mud to go around.

LOL, I'll just consider it good practice. ;)

Sounds like FUN. Too bad I have a red-eye flight tonight and won't be back in time. Have fun!

I couldn't get in on time...I ran the San Diego Mud Run two months ago and I'm running the one at Pitchess this month. I think Pendleton has the best one though.

Never ran the Pendleton one. Tried to register this year, but they were all booked up. I ran the first LASD one back in 96 I think. That was fun.

Doing the mudrun as a team back in 2003 was one of the most rewarding athletic experiences of my life. Enjoy guys!!!

No joy in mudville for me. :( Hubby had to go without me. He said it was fun, but not as fun without me. ;) He did say it was a lot more organized since we last did it (Oct. 2004). And there were even more Marines hosing runners down with fire hoses this time around. Gotta love the Marines!
