I would like some info on the Uncle Mike's retension holsters.

What motion do you have to do to draw the weapon from their dual and triple retention holsters? I currently use a Safariland 070. I want to get a duty holster for my personal Ruger P95. SL doesn't make teh 070 for the P95. Bianchi makes one with the thumb and finger snaps like the 070, but the draw motion is different. I don't want to get the differing draw motions confused in a heated moment; so, if I can't get the 070, I would like a completely different configuration.

The Uncle Mike's security holster really impressed me. While I prefer high ride duty holsters, I would be happy to wear this one. It's super fast. There are a couple positions in which your weapon could be snatched, but these are usually few and far between. Consider this holster. Uncle Mike's also has great customer service. Good luck and be safe.

I never used their level 3 holster, but the level 2 is simply an unsnap, rock and pull draw.

I agree with John......I got the jacket slot holster first and it rode too low. Unless you really need the jacket slot, go with the high-ride.

Jacket slot holsters also make it harder for weapon retention. We opted not to allow Uncle Mikes because there have been problems with them, although I'm not sure what they are (like that really helps you!). Safariland Nylok stuff seems to be holding up great for us, especially in the Marine division, followed by Bianchi Accumold.
