Criminal Research Specialist Department Of Homeland Security (ICE)

I am curious if anybody can tell me anything about this job. I will be eligible to retire early from my current position, but I would like to work on another pension. I am sure it would be quite a change going from a sworn job out in a car all day to a non-sworn job and, I suspect, in an office all day. I do like doing research, but if anybody on here can shed some light on this job, I would like to hear from you.
