What make/model do you use as a radio case (holder). I have an Uncle Mikes but it keeps coming undone and wrapping around my feet. I need some advise here folks!
Use "Porta-Clips," simple, cheap and simple lol! And I haven't seen a radio slide out yet, with the obvious exception of scuffles when even the tightest cases seem to get loose.

I use an Uncle Mikes nylon case and the trick is, when you adjust it, have at least 2/3 of the radio below the pivot/belt loop, so the centre of gravity is below the belt and it will not rotate as you run. Also, if you tuck your microphone cord under your epaulette, it won't come undone and flap in the breeze when you run.
Try and get the microphone clips from one of your local ambo's, cause they get issued them, otherwise, Signal One supplies at waterloo carry them, and they're really useful.
Alternatively, our radios have got the plastic belt clips and they're good for plain clothes work, and they're exactly the right size to lock under the NSWP issue belt. I'm assuming you've got the new motorola radio (crap as it is) and if REU Zetland haven't supplied you with the clips, give them a call, they're a few bucks each.
