A while back I was told that Safailand was coming out with a holster that would accept the light and the weapon. Does anyone know this to be true? I am looking for a way to leave my light on my weapon and holster it. I have a Glock 21 with a Streamlight M-3.

Check out the Safariland Model 6280 at http://www.safariland.com/dgcat/6280.htm

According to their "will fit" section, this holster will accept a G21 w/ M3 light. Hope this helps.

Yep - I use the 6280 for the Glock 22 with the M3. The rotating hood will secure the weapon with AND without the light attached. You can get it in leather and Nylok, but it adds about 35 bucks to the price. I think I paid about 140 for my leather one.

How much bigger is it. I would like to see one before I order one. I have been wanting the Holster that you are talking about. I have a regular 6280. If you have a picture of it or know where I can find one please let me know.

It's not that much bigger. Just think of the regular 6280 SLS holster that goes straight forward from the bottom of the trigger guard, instead of curving back forward. I'll see if I can snap a pic of mine.
