Job Recommendations

Situation: Active duty Marine, retiring in two years, looking to get into the law enforcement field. I will be 38 at retirement. Parachute Rigger by trade, also hold the Marknmanship instructor and Martial arts instructor MOS's. Have done numerous military,civilian,and police shooting packages and relative schools. Currently hold an Associates in CJ/Homeland security will have the BA by the time i retire. Have 2 combat fitness reports from Iraq, didnt get in anything serious tho. Fitness, i ran a half marathon the other day in 1:50 and average 20min 3 mile give or take and 20 pullups give or take. 235 lbs 6'1" always make the tape, i PT everyday on my own.I have been told by retired and current police chiefs that i have a personality that fits the profession. I would like to stay in the midwest or around the chicagoland area because the ex and my kids are there. Not applying right now im just inquiring your (the experts and police vets) opinions on which direction i should go. THank you for guarding the streets....-TJ
