Age when hired?

What was your age when you were hired? I'm 25 now just got out the Army, trying to get on, and was interested how old everyone was when they were picked up by a department?

I first started off in Air Force Security Forces at 18 and then separated at 24 and hired right away by current deptartment.

I started with my local department when I was 21. Too young in my opinion but I'm not complaining.

20 when I hired on. 17 when I enlisted in the USAF reserves for security police.

22 when hired by US Customs. IMO, knowing what I know now, that would have been to young to be effective at being a Police Officer, in a local dept that is. It proved to be just fine with CBP...

Your age of 25 is about right. Not having "life experience" based on your age alone should not hold you back.
