Does anyone "in the know", know when they are expecting to do interviews?
Is it possible to get in on both Regions and have time to get to both Info. Sessions and both Interviews?
Thanks to anyone on the inside that can answer these :D

No D.C number this time though.
Real question is, can you get through a second and third time.
I too will be warming up the dialing fingers.

Yeah, I had a ton of trouble getting through last time as well. Going to be rough, but I like to think positive.
This is a position that I really really want and will do whatever it takes to get it.

Questions like that will be answered in the information sessions. They may even be able to tell you if you get through to a recruiter. But I have to emphasize this........Do not try to call outside of the alloted hours and days. These guys have enough work to do trying to put these together that calling outside the times will only hold them up......not to mention take them away from their other duties. The only thing they will tell you, if they answer the phones, is the same thing you already know from reading the Regions flyers on the internet site. They will not treat you different from anyone else. (slinger, this isn't directed at you....it's for all reading)

Does anyone know how many they're anticipating to hire in Region #4 (and hiring date)? And once you get through to the orientation, what all other steps are in order to get hired? Thank you.

I'm doing good. I have no thumbs anymore. I was calling to Region 2 yesterday and today and worn them off. but I made it through.
Someone asked how long the process takes:
Six weeks from the information session. I got my golden email to set up my interview. So don't be in a hurry guys. Just look at it this way. It gives us more time to run and do all the great exercises we all LOVE to do. (to be ready for the FIT Test).
Good Luck to all.

I landed Columbus.
There is a definite stategy to this.
I tried MN all day when I could and no luck. (After landing Ohio)
Billings was constant busy, MN I got it to ring for a constant 15 rings and denver always went to voicemail.
Some of the numbers are obviously to one phone, ONE person answering, chances of getting through to that are slim.
You have to find the number that has multiple people answering.
I found that number at 2 minutes to 10am this morning, and hammered that number until I got through. (my own deduction)
I do think MN may be too far and costly for me so I will leave it to you guys,
See you all on MAY 21.

Got on the list for the 19th in Denver. Just out of curiosity, anybody remember the last time there was a big hire like this for USMS? Wife is definately not happy about region 6.

Finally got in. Will be in Denver next week. Hope this process goes fast. I have read other peoples posts on other blogs from those who have attended other FCIP sessions last year, and there are some who have not gotten very fast at all..:(

You do realize that this is the government. It could be worse.
This just gives all of us more time to be ready for the FIT Test. Don't waste all this time and be sent home due to not hitting a home run on the Test. Good Luck to all.
