Is Galls the only company that makes a pair of High Gloss Boots?

I'd really like to have a pair for days I don't feel like putting a shine on my boots, but I would like something a little better quality than a "galls boot".

Wooooww......
Am I the only one that thinks those look terrible? I've never seen anything like that before. I would think that the material would begin to look really bad once it starts to wear.

google station boots and you should come up with a few clorino boot options.
Have you tried a good pair of the jump boots with the hardened cap toe and heel area. My corcoran field boots just shot craps after 6 years of work, and are still like glass on the toe and heel, and I only have to do the shine once or twice a week. If your in the station and not jumping fences, walking in mud, and digging through cars, the shine should last a week or so.

I broke down and got a pair of these after about ten other officers did. They seem to be O.K. so far. They took about a week to break in and hurt like hell till they did, then they became a very comfortable pair of boots. I have had them for about seven months now and they are showing no signs of wear like you would think a GALL'S boot would. Once you get a scuff on them it can be easily covered with the Kiwi clear boot shine. Plus they look great when your Lt. does uniform inspection.

I usually take a hot shower with a new pair of boots on... and then leave them out to dry for a few days... that wears them in quickly.

Maybe these are better now, but years ago I bought a pair of high gloss boots. They looked great, but they were cold in the winter and hot in the summer. It seemed like my feet couldn't "breathe" in these. I realize that feet don't breathe, but seriously to me these are "toy soldier" boots. If you are on an honor guard detail, they look great. If you are working the street, forget about it. Sorry to be a party pooper, but I don't like them.

I purchased a pair about 3 years ago from Gall's when I worked FT at Wackenhut as it was mandatory on my post to wear clarino footwear matching your duty belt. Most comfortable pair of boots I've ever worn and still looks good today. I have wide feet and these were the only ones that were wide enough for me.

Well I guess it's a good thing you didn't have a basketweave duty belt. I would hate to see what basketweave boots would look like! haha :p

LOL! That would have been a mess! Wackenhut issues everything, including duty gear and Clarino gear, like that danged hat, is their trademark.
