Hi,I'm Ann and I'm a reserve officer from Ohio. I've been a certified officer for about a year and a half. I recently joined a much larger police department than the one I started out at. Welcome to the forum. Are you happy as a reserve or are you looking to go full time. Many of us started as reserves. It's a great way to get your feet wet!

I'm hoping to get on a dept. full time. I'm just not sure where yet. I have taken a few tests at local depts., but no luck yet. I'm going to be 27 yrs old soon and I'm starting to worry that if I don't get on full time soon, I won't be able to.
By the way, I AM very interested in the k9 area of law enforcement. I've had opportunities to take a few bites from a couple of the dogs and I hope to someday be a k9 officer.

I have been here... ohhhh about 2 days longer than you, so we are both getting our feet wet on this forum.
I was a reserve and went full time, I think I enjoyed it more when it was a hobby, but I still love it for 50k a year. http://www.officer.com/ubb/biggrin.gif
