HEllo Fellas,
Im former Sgt USMC, working with the VA Hospital here in P.R. and doing a Master Degree CJ. Trying to move to the law enforcement field......
anyone knows if having a umbilical hernia makes you disqualified for law enforcement officer....

No, UNLESS it limits your ability to pass an agility test / pre screen. I recently took a Recruit Selection & Background Investigation Course for LE's. The instructor, a retired Captain with the Conneticut State Police stated according to the American with Disabilities Act (ADA) police departments must make a conditional offer of employment to applicant first BEFORE any medical inquiry is made. Most of the departments in the classroom did not do this with their applicants. Your thoughts???
