Hello All,
I am very excited to be a part of this community. I have been a visitor of officer.com for a while now and knew this was something I wanted to be a part of. Ever since I was little i have wanted to be a LEO, but to make my mom happy and stress free I have held off on that dream until now. After completing my associates degree I planned on testing for various police depts. especially CPD, but when my mom found out she almost had a heart attack. Well, to make her happy I stayed in school (not that i would not if I bacame a LEO), and am in my last semester at Northeastern Illinois University. I will be graduating in May 2009 with a degree in Finance. While continuing my education, the thought of being a Police Officer never left my mind and have recently been able to persuade my mom that it is my passion and dream to serve and protect. I have recently applied and tested for a few departments and will continue to do so until I get on a force, even if it means moving out of state. Thanks for letting e share a little about myself and I look forward to talking to many of you in the future.
