Hi everyone. I'm a Deputy Sheriff in Florida and I'm currently assigned to the central jail but I will be rotating out to the road in January. I have close to 10 years in law enforcement. Most of my experience is working with juveniles. I've worked behaivoral health as a part time job so a lot of my buddie's call me the counselor.My username terminater is what they call me at the s.o. It's a long story but funny. I've been checking out the forum for sometime time now and decided to join in. I have seen a lot of good info and some extremly funny stuff. My favorite is the one in the rookie corner about the rookie officer stopping his car and running like mad because his FTO was sleeping. I wish I would have thought of that one when I did my FTO. I laughed so hard my wife thought I was losing it. I have three children two son's 11 & 13 and a 15 year old daughter. My 13 year old son lives with me and my other son and daughter live up north with thier mother.

Thanks everyone for the welcome back.
Peter it's kind of funny how I received my nick name. I'm the type of Deputy who is usally quiet and calm but is not afraid to get in the thick of things if needed. I use my brain as much as possible. One day my Sgt. asked me to go to the hospital to assist another Deputy who was with an arrestee that had escaped from our custody before. So I arrived in the ER,I went to the room were they were at and starting talking with the other Deputy when the arrestee looked at me and said did they tell you about me? I said yes that is why they sent me. He looked at me stangly and asked what I meant. I said when I was a cop up north I had a guy escape on me so I shot him five times. He kept his mouth shut the rest of his time in the ER and made to our jail without any problems. When my LT. found out about it he started calling me terminater and it has stuck with me since. I have never shot anyone and hopefully I never will but it was all I could think of at the time.
