Jack (JKT) surprised me yesterday by giving me a very sweet birthday greeting here on the forum. I thought that was great and it made me feel very good all day long. It still does... thank you, Jack!
I would love the opportunity to wish all of you a happy day on your birthdays, too... but I only know a few birthdays on the forum.
Come on... share your big day with us so we can wish you well and maybe even poke a little fun at you, too! http://www.officer.com/ubb/wink.gif
Everyone knows I turned 37 yesterday on July 16th. When is your birthday and how young will you be (if you dare to tell)?

Ok, i see by the logged time on my post I was 5 minutes early..but it really WAS after midnight ET when I posted. Thank you all. I will be "celebrating" my birthday by taking my 5 and 7 year old daughters to a Renaissance festival in the area; they both love to dress up , and it will be the younger ones first visit, since we set the rules years ago that they couldn't go to the fair until they were 5 due to the walking involved.
Somehow I suspect they will forget whose "day" it is.......
Kids;gotta love 'em.
Especially glad to be here since I walked away from totaling my patrol car on Sunday while responding to a call.

I have 5 and 7 y.o. daughters as well (and a few more going up from there), and that's just the sort of thing they would be into doing. Are you in SCA?
Have a Happy Birthday - it is your day, no matter what the kiddies think. After all, any day with children is a gift.
Stay safe,

Actually, not to drag the thread off in a different direction, but the boss actually shoke my hand and thanked me for the accident yesterday; turns out the claims adjuster valued the car at about 16,000.....and the boss had expected to only get about 5,000 for it at auction in a couple of months....

Rebecca,
I was born at the Pensacola NAS the hospital has now been torn down and there are barracks there. My mom was born there also and met my dad while he was stationed there. We lived there for just a couple of years then we moved to St.Louis then when I was 10 we moved back (Cantonment actually) then we moved to Clearwater. I still have alot of family in Penacola. My uncle and aunt, thier kids(and thier kids) as well as cousins of my mom. My great aunt passed away May 25 but her kids and grand kids and great grand kids still live there.

It was Clearwater and no about 6mo after my husband and I married he got a job offer in GA so we moved its been 5yrs now but I still consider FL "home". The majority of our friends are still in FL and we take turns with the road trip to see each other we are about 6hr from Clearwater so it is not to bad.

Ok, here goes.....I was born...er.uh...I was born...ack! help!.....I was born...Wait a minute, I have to sit down!...Ok...I was born....Wait a minute (head between my knees fanning myself, almost in a faint)...I was born...........November 8, 1949 which makes me FIFTY-ONE in TEN DAYS.....

Some sage advice? Don't plan any parties. The midlife crisis is much more fun, but the adjectives to describe it fail me.If I had known that a party was happening when I hit it,would have stayed home. You cannot escape the midlife crisis, it will hunt ya down like an old hound dog. I am fortunate, longevity is rampant in my family. Also my friends tell me I do not look at all 50. (Liars).I am not gray and my smile lines are pronounced.Laughter is in fact, good medicine.
Also a lot cheaper than a plastic surgeon.

Hey Ozark... since I'm not too brilliant with sports histories, I think I'll just go with the other clue you gave us in the Putting a face with the name thread. Great pic, btw. http://www.officer.com/ubb/smile.gif

OK, I'll play too. May 5, 1970
A little trivia about that day (other than being cinco de mayo). May 5th is also Karl Marx's birthday. What's wierd is that my best friend was born April 22, Lennin's birthday. Marx and Lennin, mabey the fact that my friend and I are Republicans will help offset the crap those two thrust on the world (but then, mabey not http://www.officer.com/ubb/wink.gif )

You guys are killing me. How did it happen that there are officers who were born after I graduated high school. It doesn't seem that long. April 15, 1955. Hi, guys, from Amarillo, Texas.
