All seriousness, will you ever do your own homework? This is a simple answer that can be SEARCHED. If you can't search, your going to have trouble in this field. I can see you right now if your OTJ. Where do I start to find evidence.:confused:

To even give you a HINT. Your Psych. therapist should of said something that leads into calling someone.

Thanks Commish!I've said this in one of your 55 plus threads that you made. If you can't take critizism, your going to have trouble in this field and this is only the internet. Your most likely going to make enemies as your co-workers by you giving attitudes towards others and no one will help you. If I remember correctly, you made a thread about if you should quite your $48K a year job that you currently have. In all seriousness, either you change your attitude or keep your $48K current job. And a little something to add, I wouldn't be surprised if you were put on psych review. I'm sure the pscyh. docs. tried to get under your skin. This job is not for everyone.

Hey im done with my process... and i truthfully cant answer his question. I was never told if i passed or failed my psych. My BI said to call the psych department and they told me to call my BI. So i guess their just as big morons as he is?

Only sure way to get a answer is to call the candidate desk (whatever its called) and chances are they are going to yell at you and tell you to call your BI.

Everyone thinks they are so smart and have the answers to everything, but people dont seem to get it. Sometimes, people (like myself) can not get a straight answer from anyone in nypd. One person gives you the run around, the other yells at you and the other says to call this person. I had to have a friend of the family to call to see if i was cleared on everything.

I found out 2 days before last julys class that i was on a bogus hold, meanwhile my BI said i was good to go

If you dont like the question, dont answer it. Stop trying to sound like your a big deal on the internet by putting someone down. Esp. when it comes to NYPD and their is never a certainty of what is proper protocal.

i can answer both of your questions in one shot. if there are inconsistent aswers on you written, then the psych will grill you about that for a while and then he will ask you questions about your life. where did you work? why? how many friends do you have? why? how much do you drink? why?.....etc. to answer the first question, if you happen to fail, you will eventually get a letter in the mail stating so. you can also call and find out from the APD. i never called, never got a letter, and 4 months later was invided for the JST.

not really considering im exam 8100 and im all done with everything just playing the waiting game. i know some guys that took over a year to get fully processed so its definatly not bad. besides im in two other processes so time goes alot faster when your not sitting around waiting for one phone call. how far along are you? im sure your ready for July right?

Yea.. the recruitment videos and being an AUX for two years really proves what its like to be a police officer.

That's not true. The first time I took the psych, they didn't tell me anything and I passed. It all just depends. Now I have to take it again because my first exam is about to expire... :(

It depends Barxone..if they put you on review they won't call you but send you a letter in approximately a year or even more..I was put on review for like 15 months and they just told me today I failed the oral psych (that's bc I called them)..now they say that I have to wait for the letter that will come in the mail to appeal the case(they couldn't tell me how long I've to wait for the letter to come in the mail)..I know it's sucks..but if you passed I heard they'll call you in a matter of days or weeks..if you are smart enough to get what I'm trying to tell you good luck..you know when you took the psych!!
