I have still yet to figure out what the hell those scanner/ cell phone block looking things are on the poles above all four lanes at all of the BP checkpoints. Anybody know?
Also.... In the past three weeks on the I-5 and I-15 there have been some new poles popping up with the same but smaller looking scanner things pointing towards the lanes. These poles are spaced about 2 -4 football fields apart, have a electrical box at the bottom and a scanner looking thing at the top.
Are these things simply xrays?
Oh and what the heck are the Extra tall light poles at the 5 and 805 split that have the Radar Dome looking things with the red and white checkers on them?
Sorry... just very intrigued maybe somebody has an answer for me.
