NYPD is requesting the names of my aunts, uncles, first cousins, and sisters/brothers, half-sisters/half-brothers.
I've seen my first cousins twice in my entire life and don't have any of the information NYPD is requesting except their names. I have a half-brother whom I've never met and one whom I met once when I was nine. Should I just put their names on my application and write in "unknown" for their addresses, phone numbers, and work information?
Jeez, I'm not even sure how to correctly spell one of my half-brother's names...

I could always pay for one of those online searches to get their home addresses and phone numbers, but still wouldn't be able to answer all of the questions asked...

I went through this as well (you will get some A##hole on here who backs up that question) I have no relations with my family except my sibs and parents.

What did you put on the NYPD forms? I'm leaning towards names and writing "unknown" in all the other fields.

Don't listen to other people that can't take criticism well. You'll most likely have to re-due APD-5 if you listen to them. Makes me wonder if he got passed psych doctor. You start off listing your family members that are close to you then branch out to family members you don't no well. There's only 9 boxes. And it also states to list anyone residing with you which most likely your parents and if you have any siblings. That should fill in most of the boxes.
Key thing to filling out APD-5 is to fill in information that pertains to your life and your family that surrounds you. And obviously if there's only 9 boxes means that is all APD wants until they ask for further more. If you have any more questions, call APD.

With the extended family issue I think it depends on the BI. I have a huge family. My mother has 3 other siblings and my father is the first of 13 kids (we're Irish Catholic;)) and all of my aunts/ uncles have 3+ kids. So that is ALOT of people to track down. I called my BI about this and she told me that if they never lived with me then not to worry about it. Best bet would be to call your bi and see what the verdict is.
