I've heard several people mention getting a print out of their DMV records for their BI. Where in the packet does it say you need to bring this? I don't see anything in mine about it.

Not sure where, but it's called a Driving Abstract. You do need it.

Go to the DMV and get your abstract ($10). You find out about it when you schedule your appointment with your BI. A certified letter comes in the mail which gives some other extra goodies for you to do. By the way, TYPE EVERYTHING except the booklet.

Thanks. My BI didn't say a word about it when I made the apt. Last time I went through the process, I had to bring a copy of my credit report. Should I pull that too?

What are the extra goodies that you mention?

You should have gotten a list of about 25 (dont remember exactly) things to bring to your interview. One of them is the driving abstract.

You don't need to bring a credit report, your BI most likely will have already had one printed. You might wanna get one for your self though just to be sure there's nothing on there you need to correct or explain.

you do have to bring your credit report if you BI asks you to. I know that i had to bring ALOT of stuff. each applicant is different so they ask you to bring different things. i know i had to bring in my real estate license etc. yes on the driving record and yes on the credit report if you were asked.

In the past, "they" have requested credit reports for people that are or were self-employed, or if you have something unusual in your credit past.

They didn't ask for one this time around, but since I'm self-employed I may bring one just in case. :)
