From what I understand, the NYPD does daily computerized testing by City Hall, and the test is the same and there's no difference between the testing or the dated exam.
Does anybody else know?

They are going to be stopping the daily testing or may have already stopped doing it.

+1 .. I believe they still offer it now but are doing away with it to save costs. It was set up for convenience of the test takers to schedule whenever they were available if they could not make the official. It was also free to take. Now that they're cutting back it will be gone until the next economy boom.. hopefully soon

I should hurry up and take daily testing then. From my knowledge, they are still doing it. The NYPD still lists all the information to take the daily testing.

No, I spoke with a recruiter over the chat and they both said they were still available. Never heard anything about it being cancelled. I'll call 212-Recruit in the morning and check.

I think it was only not available for January and/or February.

I called up the Recruiting Offices (212-Recruit) and they said it was still on-going. They never said it was going to be canceled soon, so that's good.
I mean, if you call up and say that you're child is dying, are they going to say "I'm sorry, but get the hell back to work or you're infracted"?
