Question about the 8316 exam

Has any1 who took the exam (walk-in) 8316 had be contacted in anyway by mail or phone calls? just wondering.

When will the next class be hired?
The next Police Acedemy class is tentatively scheduled for July 2009. We anticipate using exam 4022 up to and including exam 7011. Should questions exist, please call the Candidate Service Desk at (718) 972-2503/2545 or the Candidate Relations section at (718)972-3120.

I'm also in the 8000s. And received a letter in the mail yesterday to finish up my hiring process. Don't know why, there probably going to have a small class again. APD took a few months to send me the initial medical letter, but judging by your exam number and economy. Expect a letter between 3-5 months from the date you took your exam. APD probably had to cut back some OT.

If you call the APD number (automated one) they tell you a list number is available but they wont give it to you yet, i figure they probably have mailed it out

I just found this to be interesting, and wanted to know if this happened to anybody else. About 2 weeks ago i called the automated number to see if 8316 was given a list number as of yet, and the message was yes the list number has been established but not further information was available at the time
for some reason i saw the number in my phone again so i called and now the message states that the list number is not yet available for this test

did something like this ever happen to one of you guys
