When filling out the APD forms online using Adobe Acrobat (newest version), In some fields when I type something it repeats itself repetitively over the next few lines that relate to that answer.
Is this done on purpose for the investigator(? more than likely not)
or a mistake and a way around it?
For instance, APD-6. In the "Scars, Marks, Tattoos" field if you type anything on line one, it repeats itself over the next few lines. If you try to delete it on any one line it deletes everything. Very Strange..
Thanks in advance guys !

Some forms weren't formatted correctly when they put them online. Unless you are computer savy, fill out the forums as best you can online and finish typing up the problem areas on a typewriter. It's what I did.
There's a hundred things APD could do to make life easier for us AND them, but they chose otherwise.

The TYPEWRITER.. lol.. man.. I'd have to dig through my parent's antiques to dig one up. People don't trust technology for a reason I guess..
and yeah, lots of things they could do to make it easier.. APD could let us WRITE IN INK  !
It seems the people over there are stuck in the middle of some time warp between before and after the typewriter was invented..

I had this problem.. I printed it out with the double, then used white out on what was extra, photo copied it, and called it a day.

I scanned them and then used adobe to type where i needed. I don't remember what adobe program it was, but it worked fine. On those ones where there is no block and you need to type it... you need to type it. Some BI's will make you come back with it redone.

yeah.. I'll see what I'm gonna do. I tried to white out and scan but little black lines come up and it looks like I tried to forge it somehow hahah.. I'll try that scan and open on my own.. but you'd think they would have tried to fix that. I'm sure it causes lots of problems for both us and APD

Wow.. that's just wrong !

There's a program where you can scan them and then drop a text box anywhere you want. I can't remember what it is called though. It driving me crazy.
Yea i actually had some not filled out all the way and had to go home and fix them. But then she let me fax them over.
