Hi everyone. I hope this is the right place to post such a request-If not, please accept my apologies, but it seemed the most appropriate forum.

I won't waffle on for too long, but basically I'm wondering if anyone knows of a retired NY Police Officer by the name of Charles Justice, who originally came to the USA from Ireland either during or soon after World War 2. I am one of his decendants and would very much love to get in touch with him. If he is still alive he'll be about 80 years old now.

Many thanks for reading this, and I hope very much to hear back from somebody soon.

Kind regards,
Geoff Smith from London, England.

Try http://www.familytree.com

Good luck. I also have ancestors from Ireland.

Geoff,

A couple of suggestions.

Contact the NYPD Emerald Society for some assistance. They will probably not provide specifics (confidentiality) but might give you a place to start.

To verify some of your info try www.ellisisland.org (http://www.ellisisland.org) and get more information regarding time/age of immigration.
