Today marks a whole month our son has not had a seizure. His seizures are the kind where he blanks out and becomes disoriented. The poor kid has to take 25 pills a day but we are praying the new experimental one from Japan is the one helping. And I pray everyday for a new surgery that will let him lead a normal life.
He hasn't had an easy life but it could have been so much worse. No self pity allowed! I mean, he has a beautiful girlfriend who doesn't care he can't drive...She drives on all the dates!
So, there are positives here! He says giving her money for gas makes him feel a little less helpless. Hey, he has a beautiful girl who cares about him and drives him evreywhere! THAT'S a wonderful positive!

I am glad to hear the good news there Mitzi. I guess it is wonderful that he has a person who cares for him as much as his mother and hopefully he will continue to do good and soon something even better your way comes.

Thanks, Klar. If anyone deserves a break in life, it sure is my son.

Your welcome. You deserve a break from over worring too. It is nice to hear a positive thing come out from your puter every once in a while. :)

I really don't mean to talk aout my son so much. Y'all must be sick of hearing about it. But, you all know, if you are a parent, you won't stop still they are well. I was once accused of using him to get attention. So, I won't talk about him as much, I promise!

Mitzi go ahead and talk about him all you like. Me having five kids can understand and sometimes I seem to talk aboutthem a lot. I was just glad to hear happy news. LOL
