Damned diabetes! I feel awful today. My hands are so swollen, I can barely typed and I can't make a fist. I KNEW I should not have had that piece of pumpkin pie. I hate getting older. I want to be the Mitzi that used to chase her son around the yard...and caught him. The one that rode her bike everyday...The one that COULD make a fist to scare her husband. The one that swam all the time and went dancing. I guess I'll just have to settle for being beautiful. :D

Mitzi, don't worry about your hands. I'd be more worried with you celebrating Thanksgiving three months ahead of the actual holiday.

That was done as a present to my H of his birthday, Crazy and it's the first time I have ever done that. He enjoyed it so, I'm glad I'm did it. But I'm paying or it today:)

Mitzi, I'm teasing you.
Of course, if you cook an Easter dinner in October, MikeTX and I are going to have you committed.

Sooner or later time catches up with all of us. If we're lucky it comes on slowly so we have a lot of years to enjoy the things we can still do. Think about the things you can do, not the things you can't.
I will be 70 in a few months. More and more often I catch myself trying to remember how old my mother was when she first got arthritis, was told she was in the beginning stages of cataracts, etc. I'm doing a little better than she did, for which I am truly grateful, so I just go about my business and try to pretend it's not happening to me. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="eek.gif" />
