I noticed that they have no lights or siren in the humvee to warn people. They probabily cant hear that rinky dinky horn if they have the windows up and a little music going.

Guessing that is what the light bump is for, apparently thats how they roll over there, but here is someone bumped me with a all terrain vehicle with a mounted turret on it id GFTO too.

We always had lights and sirens available in our rigs but I also rolled with a PST contractor who had to play by different rules. I did notice a lot of the convoy leads had at least a one hummer with a light(s) and they all had sirens. Most times the light was just a blue cherry style stuck on the dash. it also depends on when and where this video was taken. I was in a PIC province where the coalition was only there for support. For the most part, if the locals saw a convoy coming, whether it be a few SUVs like ours or a whole crew of hummer and MRAPs coming, they would move out the way.

I agree with the OP though, there have been times when I was running code that I would have liked to do the same thing. When I was in WA, the worst time for a call was during shift change at the local apple processing plant on HWY124 near Burbank and during cherry picking season.

I was wondering what the rules are on having a siren or something. That horn was pretty sad. LOL. At least an air horn! I love our air horns in our cars!

That video needs to have this dubbed over it.

Just like over here even if the hummer was equipped with lights and sirens I am quite confident people would not get out of the way.

I wish that the birth control pill was that...birth control. People would be steralized at birth, then if you wanted a child you have to pass a test, review board to make sure you can provide, etc. Then, you get a pill that ALLOWS you to get pregnant...lol

Yeah, can't really do that anymore...

Hadji got smart and started to put "pads" in the bumper... so when it hit something it would go "boom"

Last time we were there, most people already knew to get out of our way... if they didn't, they'd need at least a new windshield...
