ADOPT A SOLDIER *** DONATIONS ***
I wanted everyone to know that I am currently accepting donations for the Wounded Warrior Project. I am doing this on behalf of Sgt Gabe Cullers who is serving in an infantry unit in Afghanistan. A few of us from a waterfowl website kind of adopted Gabe and have sent him some hunting related items. Gabe has expressed that he would rather have a donation sent to the Wounded Warrior Project which helps seriously wounded combat veterans returning from Iraq and Afghanistan. I am accepting payment via paypal or personal checks but paypal is preferred so that both of us have a copy of your donation. This is a great cause and we are trying to get the word out to anyone and everyone. Some have asked their co-workers for donations and sent the payment to me. Others have designated someone to collect and that person is in contact with me so we can keep a running total for donations. We just started this a couple of days ago and would appreciate your help. I am retired law enforcement and an Army Veteran and understand some may think this may be a scam, it is not I assure you, I just want to put your mind at ease about that right now. If you have any questions please contact me via PM. Now let's see how much we can raise for these wounded heroes returning home and trying to adjust to a new lifestyle. Here is a link to the website.

Just to let everyone know what the donation money will go towards. I spoke to Gabe about this and this was what he wanted for the wounded soldiers. It's doesn't sound like much, but when your wounded and you get something that will make your life easier, then this is a great gift. Please donate to this great cause. We have enougn for one backpack at this point and would like to get at least one more if not two. The baclpacks cost $ 99.
WWP Packs
Wounded warrior Backpacks contain essential care and comfort items including clothing, toiletries, calling card, CD player, and playing cards, all designed to make their hospital stay more comfortable. They are provided to severely wounded service members arriving at military trauma centers.
