Just curious guys, I know OPD issues AR-15's to all there patrol guys, but does OCSO issue AR-15's to there patrol guys, or only there TAC units?

Most squads have a couple of ARs and most of the specialty units carry them but they are not standard issue.

Are they getting you guys the new knox stocks? From what I understand all the new shotguns are going to have the collapsible stocks.

probably... but they will take time to filter down.. i still have a full stock..... its buried in the trunk...... acutally i just shot it at block this week... hows the academy going?????

OCSO issues M16s once you are off probation and volunteer for the class and certification. you can also opt to carry your personal AR15 if you wish. you are required to qualify with your M16/AR15 once every three months
