Anyone have information on this gig? Training, typical duties and assignments, armed/unarmed, are they even LEO's? I get the impression they mostly sit at a desk and do research for the FBI SA's.

It is unarmed, as the only armed positions with-in the FBI are special agents (1811's) and Uniformed Police. Analyst tend to conduct reseaches, etc. Such as sit at a desk. I'd call the FBI to see when or where they might have a career fair, etc.
