Any cat lovers on here I suggest not even watching this video.

Received this from a cop buddy of mine..... This is one thing I never thought
was happening, guess I was totally wrong.

That is fake. They never actually show a cat being hooked. They show some cats swimming around with a hook attached to them (it doesn't look like it is piercing them) then they cut to fishing footage of a shark. Never do we see an actual cat being used as bait.

And the close up of a kitten hanging from a hook looks fake too.

Gulf Po Po I agree, I was wondering if this was fake too, but honestly I wouldn't put it pass people to do such things.

I don't think I would really want to see the hook going into the cat though to be honest

LOL true. My neighbor has a ton of cats and of course they hop the fence and I see them roaming in my front and back yard frequently. I have thought about getting a BB gun and taking a few target practice shots but I know that wouldn't be right.....:D

Thank you for that. I knew it was fake from the get-go because it doesn't make sense to use cats as bait anyways, but I couldn't find anything about it on Snopes

I figured out it was fake when they showed a cat having a hook put through it's spine/neck and the little thing didn't even flinch, or freak out at all.
