Applicants may file a ‘Request for Waiver of the Application Processing Fee’ if they can demonstrate a financial hardship. The deadline for filing the Preliminary Testing Application is 4:00 p.m. on Friday, March 13, 2009.

Physical agility is situps (i think its 29 in a minute) pushups (21) 3/4 lap sprint around 1 lap of the track and and a 1.5 mile run in like 15 minutes. The Dauphin County Chiefs PT testing is easier than that is required to enter the police academy. Police Academy entrance and graduation standards can be found at the link below.

You must be at 30th percentile first week of academy, and 50th percentile by graduation. (Everyone gets confused about bench press ratio but its free weights and its about 30 pounds less than your body weight to get in and about 5 pounds less than your body weight to graduate).. Example.. I went in at age 21, I weighed 155 pounds, i had to do about 125 to get in and about 150 to graduate.

Does anyone know if you have to go through their own academy or would ACT 120 suffice?
