Amtak Police?

Does anyone know when Amtrak Police will be testing for the east coast again? I've been waiting to test for NYC for the longest time.

I'm not aware of any hiring but I did hear they recieved a new contract. The contract gave them competitive pay so maybe they havn't been loosing officers like they use to. I don't know how true it is but a Philly PD Officer said they are making more then him.

If that is the case they may become hard to get into. Maybe someone here can correct me if I got bad info.

Not for awhile. They recently reactivated the list from the test they gave 2 years ago and are slowly hiring for NYC. Your better bet will be to try baltimore or DC as they need cops.

Their website clearly states that they are hiring police officers nation wide, yet only LA shows up. They are going to ask about other cities. Specifically DC.

Works doing what? HR sometimes does not have the answer since hiring does come from mangement out of Philly.

Just send a resume via certified return receipt to Washington HR and make attn for Baltimore/Washington DC police officer employment.
