Greetings to all!
First, sorry for my bad english, i had my last official english lesson in 1993 :o
I'm HunPenguin, i'm from Hungary. It's a nice, small country in Europe (and the land of the corrupt, crime supporting, anti L.E. politicians  )

I'm 32 years old, male. I wear uniform since 1997 and i had various assignments. I'm now Sergeant First Class in the O.R.F.K. (National
Police Headquarters)
My interests: weapons (firearms and blades too), martial arts
I'm practicing krav maga (I.K.M.F. branch)
I have to confess, this is my first forum where i did registration (except the adult ones... :p )
Safe duty to all

Welcome to the Forum HunPenguin--though you may find the images here less exciting.

Welcome to the Forum! I had the pleasure of meeting some Hungarian officers in Budapest in September. I was on a river cruise and they were in town for a large protest. :D The officers were very pleasant, professional and informative to this recently retired officer from So. California!

Welcome to the forum. Beautiful country you have there. I was lucky enough to spend a few days in Budapest back in 1996, it was one of the most beautiful city that I have ever been to.

I was on these international river cruise ships many times, but always with a tiny flaw. Not as tourist, but as Border Guard immigration officer... :D
By the way, your avatar pic is a puli, a hungarian shepherd & watch dog. Is your family descended from here?

My wife and I don't have any Hungarian roots, but my dog sure does! He's a first generation American, as his parents were both imported from Hungary. A great breed, although we didn't see very many of them during our brief visit to your country.
I've heard Pulik were used for police work too, although I don't know if that's still the case. Several years ago, I met a Los Angeles County Sheriff's Dept deputy who owned a Komondor and participated in scheutzenhund training with him. Both breeds are rarely found in the U.S., but Vizslas are very common and used for hunting here!
