Yeah! Keep an eye out on ebay. I just picked up a used surefire weaponlight package that would retail for about $480 for $150 shipped. I really don't care about a few nicks on the finish of a light on my work rifle.

If your local Police Supply does not have a good deal on one with L.E. Discount try cheaperthandirt.com They have awesome prices on about everything.

If you call Surefire, they give a discount to LE. If I remember correctly, it's 15% off. The 660 is way too outdated for me to pay that much though. If you can get a smoking deal on one, you can upgrade it with the Malkoff M60 drop-in module.

BOOOO stock Surefire.
You are better off getting something with a M60 drop in like akflyer said. Better light and runtime. Just get a 6P or G2, find a mount, throw in a Malkoff, good to go.
Or if you just prefer incandescent like myself, the 660 is a fine choice. Even though it's shock-isolated keep a couple extra lamp assemblies and lots of extra batteries handy. I do not like tape switches, though. I'd like the option of being able to order the 660 without that altogether (to cut down on cost) and just stick with the tailcap switch.
But yes, I do admit I have an LED weaponlight on my shotgun, toasterlocker. ;)

the best price I have seen is $250 at botach ... http://www.botachtactical.com/su660bamowe.html
I personally would go a different route. i like the surefire G2 with the Viking Tactics mount and the total price of $53.00 bucks is hard to beat. You can add a pressure switch and a LED lightbulb thru ebay pretty cheap if you feel the need. http://www.vikingtactics.com/prod_vtac_lightmount.html
Also the surefire x300 is a great lightweight option.

I cannot understand how someone could like an incan better than LED. I know some just like the dingy yellow light of the incans better, but if that's the case, just buy the "warm tint" LED that approximates an incan color. Malkoff makes one of those too (M60W) but you sacrifice lumen output (170 vs 235). I blew an incan out of my surefire shotgun weaponlight the first time I shot it. It didn't take me long to get an LED in there!
The 660 mounts up forward of the fore end.... That would be a pretty tough place to reach to activate the light if you didn't have a pressure switch and needed a light in a hurry! I'm sure as heck not going to be running around with the light constantly running! It should only be on momentarily so a light mounted forward of the fore end isn't much good IMO. If it's mounted to the fore end in such a manner as to be easily and quickly activated while firing, that's another story. Mine has to be carried in an electro lock in my car so I'm not able to do the vertical grip and quad rail configuration. I'm going with an A-frame sight-mounted rail with a pressure switch velcroed to the fore end where it won't interfere with the electro lock.

Strange, because they're shock isolated or are in stock configuration, at least.
Anyway, I like incans better than LEDs --- it's just personal preference. However, I do want a super-thrower like the Dereelight DBS R2. I've already decided I'm going for it, it's just a matter of when.
And incans only turn 'dingy yellow' when their cells start to deplete. My easy fixable solution is to just carry extra batteries and lamp assemblies should a drop kill one of my bulbs that isn't shock-isolated.

+1 on that. I don't have an Insight Procyon, but hear that is another excellent choice as well.
