where did you hear that they were hring? I do know that they went from the Sheriffs "tan and grn" and wht cars to traditional Blu wool PD uniforms and Blk and whts.I heard the pay wasn't high ( like $40K to $52K/yr) good luck if thats what you want ,but In that case ( if you want to stay closer to home) try fontana USD Police -they may be hiring or come all the way west and deal with the vicious cretins we call students here in L.A. at LAUSDPD (met some LA School cops today booking a 15 yr old with a gun at Parker Center; same kid was "proud" to say he was preparing to kill "some fools" who threatened him and would have done it if the School PD hadn't chased him down!)
