San Diego PD written exam and hiring process

I am going in on Wednesday for the written exam, I was wondering if any of you have taken it and can let me know what to expect and what they are looking for.

Also how is the rest of their process? How fast do they move people along who past the written?

Also I would love to hear from any officers that currently work for SDPD and how they like the dept.

I am not an officer for SDPD, but I just finished the process. I took my written and PAT test back in September. Recently with the budget cuts they have slowed there hiring down to 25 recruits per academy class. The written test is basic stuff you should have no problem good luck!

Took the test last July and currently still in backgrounds. My investigator wanted me to collect my sealed transcripts and bring them to her, but she has stated they are unsure of an April academy
