FYI: To those that are interested. I noticed that Hawthorne is currently hiring for recruit, academy graduate, and laterals.

They are a great smaller department. They don't pay well at all, but they are a tight-knit, good department. The chief is definitely a guy who stands behind his officers, and the city supports the department. It looks like a good place to work overall. And boy, can they be busy!

Does anyone know if they use their own written test or the post one. What is their pat consist of

They use POST tests, I just took the written exam and it was the same as the city of El Segundo.

Adam Carolla must have passed that one. I just took the El Segundo test not too long ago and it was not the CA post exam.
