I took my Undergrad study at SUNY College at Oneonta in NY's Catskill mountains. I grew up in NYC all my life. Most of my life I thought I would never be a Police Officer, now I find myself chasing the badge across the country. I relocated with my family here in Miami from Brooklyn NY Back in June if this year. I came here to pursue a career with MDPD. But the process is sooooo long that my patience is wearing thinner by the day.

yea that wait is pretty long but like ERMDPD said, it's worth it. all you have to do is a ride along to find that out. I did an 8hr ride along and i was just watching like, they pay you to do this? and during the 8hrs she took 2 30mintue lunch breaks. TWO! it's just awesome if you have patience. I'm gonna gonna say they always get breaks like that cause she said sometimes they never get a break but somedays it's just cake and somedays feels like your house to house.

If you want to look else where i suggest applying for BSO as well.
It's totally okay if you apply for even 5 departments at once. sounds bad but it's actually pretty normal
