Toledo hiring?

I know Toledo cancelled their police and fire classes for 2009, but I recently heard that they re-instated them. Does anyone know anything?

There has been alot of talk about them " re instating" the classes, but nothing is official yet. The people that were selected to start the Police academy had been fitted for vests and uniforms already ! None of the people hired for the next Police class have been contacted by the City since the classes got cancelled. Hope this helps, but noone that really knows anything is saying much right now.
