Have any of you waited beyond the 6-week waiting period before hearing from a BI?
I'm about to turn mine in, and was wondering what the wait times are like for them.

Not too sure BUT my granddaughter (MAMA_MX) was trying to get into the RS SD I don't think she ever filled out the BI papers. Do know she passed her PAT. Maybe someone else knows if she has. Good luck. I know the RSSO could use a few great people
Thanks!
she should definitely work on turning in that package if she wants to proceed in the process. Good luck to her!

Which method did you use? I live in los angeles, so i might be a 2 hour drive (but could be worth it).
How long did it take for them to call you for the interview?
Mine was in on the 1st. Because of the holidays and the sheer number of applicants, I don't expect to hear anything until mid January or February.
Just as long as I don't get the thin envelope
Oh, and don't listen to Mapquest or Google. It will tell you to go down 11th street; It's closed. Instead, turn onto Plummer Street. The HR building is on the south side of 11th street by the gravel parking lot.

I waited for three months before my initial BI contact. Of course, I was one of the idiots who mailed it in and it probably cost me a spot in the academy as I was slated for the december academy initially. Hang in there man, it is gonna be a long slow process unless you are a person interested in the desert area. I passed my Poly Nov. 6th and have never heard from my BI since. Try Border Patrol if your desperate. I am a Park Ranger, and the good news I received was I actually got a new Ranger position in Carlsbad (big pay increase, take home truck/tools/laptop/cell) and I start in two weeks!! So sometimes things work out for the best. Good Luck to all and Happy freaking New Year!!!!!!
