Special Investigator I, Dept Mental Hlth & Developmental Svc

Is anyone familiar with the position of SPECIAL INVESTIGATOR I, DEPT MENTAL HLTH & DEVELOPMENTAL SVC? I am curious about the day-to-day duties (not listed in the description), etc.

I know a little about the position. It is unarmed and you cannot carry a firearm while on the facility. You basically do investigations which are mostly abuse cases. You spend most of your time in an office typing up reports and conducting interviews. Different facilities run things differently, but some have take home cars. Also some facilities require you to be on call one day per week. My knowledge is based off of a buddy who worked as a peace officer for a developmental services facility.
