I would go with the NON BIOMETRIC version of this safe, if this is the size you are looking for......
I have been told by more than a few that the biometric safes take several extra seconds to open......seconds you WONT have in an emergency......
BTW....that is not a 'gun safe'......its a 'gun vault'.....
THIS is a gun safe.......:D

Nice. It may take me a while to fill one of those up.

When you do get in the market for an actual safe, go for the largest you can afford (and can fit in your home/garage obviously), I will be getting safe #2 (probably the one in the link above) when I move into my new home......ran out of room in the current safe

I have something similar for inside the house, so I can secure a couple of handguns in the bedroom

If you are asking about the one I posted, it works just fine.....
Its the same safe as what you originally posted, except the locking system is not biometric.....standard combo lock, with optional keyed entry.....

I got this at costco for around $400. Just an entry level safe for the apartment til I buy a house or condo.
