Buenos dias. Anyone know of any good Christmas streets/blocks were I can take the family to? The only one I know of is in R.C.--Thoroughbred//Carnelian--and the Newport harbor parade. Thanks.

Merry Christmas!!

Here is a list that was published in the Daily Bulletin:

Glendale used to have a nice display. I think it was called Santa Claus Lane or Christmas Tree Lane, something like that.

Don't forget Griffith Park (above)

Just don't go to the DWP light show. My brother in law works there for AAA and says that they haven't changed anything in years....

I have this neighbor about 6 houses down from me that spends a small fortune each year on a professional set up. He even has a low power radio transmitter pumping out either Mannheim Steamroller or Trans-Siberian Orchestra (not sure) sync'd (sp?) up to the light display just like that Budweiser commercial a few years back. The rest of the block looks cool as well but not when compared to this guy.

I included the commercial to give you an idea :

My neighbor has those icesicle lights on his condo and a snowman in the bushes, LOL! The lights on carnelian are probably the best around the IE. There used to be a few streets in Chino that were pretty cool, my friends used to live on the streets but a lot of the people moved out of the neighborhood and not what it used to be. Plus the houses on Carnelian are pretty nice/expensive. Nice area!!

Naples island in LB is great, nearby off of Bolsa is a culdesac street called Southwest or something like that (Just s/of the 22) they get pretty crazy. The Torrance neighborhood is nuts, (I assume its on the Daily Breeze link) I go kind of crazy w/ the fake snow and all but I wouldnt want to live somewhere like the Torrance place where you cant even drive on the steeet because cars are backed up for miles.

Yes, the block off of Bolsa Chica off the 22 freeway is very nice. I think its in H.O.A. that every home has to be decked out for Christmas :) Its by my house and I go visit it every year.

Hastings Ranch in Pasadena used to be good, haven't been there in years though
